Ingredientes para 6 porciones
- 2 1/2 tazas de leche
- 7 cucharadas de azúcar
- 5 huevos
- 1 cucharada de esencia de vainilla
- 3/4 taza de azúcar (para el caramelo)
- 1/4 taza de agua (para el caramelo)
Preparación
Preparar el caramelo en una olla con el azúcar y agua. Retirar del fuego cuando el almíbar esté de color café.
En una olla colocar la leche, azúcar y esencia de vainilla. Calentar a fuego lento hasta el primer hervor revolviendo constantemente. Dejar enfriar.
En una fuente colocar los 5 huevos y batir ligeramente.
Incorporar poco a poco los huevos batidos a la leche enfriada, revolviendo constantemente.
Verter un poco de caramelo en cada molde (aptos para hornear). Luego, repartir la mezcla de leche y huevos en cada molde.
Colocar los moldes sobre una fuente grande con agua caliente para hornear a baño María.
Llevar al horno precalentado y hornear durante 40 minutos. Una vez listo, dejar enfriar y servir flanes desmoldados.
